Editing your site with the AI chat
The chat panel in the editor is how you change your site. You type what you want in plain words, and it does the work. No menus to hunt through, no design skills needed.
Just say what you want
Type things like:
- "Change the headline to Best Tacos in Tucson"
- "Make the colors warmer"
- "Add a section about our catering service"
- "Swap the photo in the top section"
- "Add a page for gift cards"
The change shows up right in the preview. Don't like it? Say "undo that" or describe what you'd rather have.
What can it help with?
Almost everything: words, photos, colors, fonts, pages, the menu at the top, forms, popups, blog posts, publishing, connecting your domain, checking your visitor numbers, sending an email to your subscribers, and getting a backup of your site. You can even upload a picture of a section you saw somewhere and ask for one like it.
If you're ever unsure, just ask it: "What can you do?" It will tell you.
Tips for good results
- One thing at a time works better than a long list of changes.
- Be specific. "Make the About section shorter and friendlier" beats "fix the About section."
- It won't make things up. It will never invent reviews, star ratings, or "20 years in business" claims — it only uses facts you give it. That protects you.
