Getting your backup

Ask the chat in the editor: "Give me a backup of my site." You'll get a download link, and clicking it saves a single zip file to your computer.

It's a real, readable copy — not a locked-up file that only works inside heyolive.

Before a big experiment. Restore points already protect you inside heyolive (see Undo and versions), but a downloaded copy is peace of mind that lives on your own computer.
For your records. Some owners like a copy alongside their other business documents. Grab a fresh one whenever — each download reflects your site as it is right then.
If you ever leave. We'd hate to see you go, but your content walks out the door with you. That's how it should be.
